The Photobook Project is a Plymouth based community interest company that uses the arts (in particular photography) to empower people living with dementia and their wider communities.
Our project has been delivered to groups around the world (including in Japan and the Netherlands, and across the UK). We invite participants to capture their experiences through single-use cameras and creative activities and we use the outcomes to make a collection of amazing ‘photobooks’. All participants are gifted a book from their group's collection, a self-evidence of living well with dementia.
